Finally got all the pieces together; '03 350 6.0 PSD Torqueflight and the trailer (3 horse slant/living quarter). All totaled, I'm just @ or a little above the 20K GCVW (22K max). Pulling home for the first time I run into a big problem no one seems to be able to explain. The power in the truck is awesome, no problems. Stopping is no problem either, got the prodigy setup correctly I guess. The problem arises when I'm in Tow/Haul mode and take my foot off the gas on a downhill slope. The trailer seems to push the truck and it results in a totally unacceptable bucking motion. The horses would have kittens if they rode through that.
The trailer guy who has setup hundreds of these things and has a couple of Fords (250/350 & new 450) thinks I'm nuts (after the check clearer he didn't use the term nuts). The Ford service manager didn't have any ideas, but one of his mechanics suggested we reload the transmission program. Torque converter not holding or something like that. Anybody else know what I'm refferring to or have any other ideas? Help Please.
