I have an 02 F250 4x4 SRW 5.4 w/ X springs. I'm upgrading wheels and tires to and DO NOT want tires sticking out of the fenders (much). I'm really tired of seeing trucks that look great from the side and rediculous from the rear. I'm convinced if I buy wheels with a higher back spacing, more like 5 1/2 as opposed to 4 1/2, I can tuck the tires in enough to look right. Trouble is the only wheel I can find with a BS over 4 1/2 is the AR Outlaw II (5 1/2), which I'm fine with but the design's a little dated. I'm going to use 16x8's with 315/75's or 35 12.5's. Lift is all set.
Are there any other wheels out there with 5+ BS???
Stick with 8" wide wheels instead of 10" - and keep the backspacing CLOSE to stock - that should keep the tires in the fenders - i'm sure i read somewhere that the superdutys are prone to rubbing the springs with the wrong spacing - my suggestion anyway
