I was wanting to run duals on my bronc. I would like to have an original 40 series flow put on it. However, it doesnt come single in/dual out in a 2.25" pipe. Will they dual it after the muffler? or When would it split to become duals? I trying to stay away from spending too much $$$. I am also planing on removing one of the cats. Thanks
Well what size outlet do they offer on the 40 series? Are you thinking about some sort of small Y out of the muffler, into two separate tail pipes (-[___]-< to tailpipes)? Are you dead set on the 40 series? Does Flowmaster offer the configuration you want on any other of their mufflers? Would you consider a different exhaust manufacturer?
I saw some 40 series flows the other day. It was single inlet and dual outlet. It may not be the same size as your pipe, but any shop can weld up the small space.
