oil pressure sending unit
To make it short, I do not what to replace my factory sending unit and guage if possiable, I want to add a true oil pressure guage and sending unit. Where should I put the sending unit, I am going to use a pillar mount for the guage, but I do not know where to put the sending unit to get a true reading of the oil pressure.

You say that I can plug into my oil fliter housing, ok that brings up another question, the way it all goes together, I am mech inclined but what kind of sending unit should I use so to make sure it will fit the threads, and wont block the port if there is a chance of blocking it. Sorry for the uneducated questions but I really want a true guage but do not want to mess up anything in the process. Thank you so much for giveing me help, I am sure it wont be the last.
