Don't you think you should have asked for our opinions BEFORE you bought those tires?!

Personally, you couldn't GIVE me a set of Goodyear tires for any of my vehicles. My experience with EVERY Goodyear tire I have ever owned is that:

1) After about 10 -15,000 miles they start to "sing" like snow tires.....and.....

2) They start to squirm when you are on a road with the least bit of irregular surface.....which is about 98% of ALL roads in this country.....and.....

3) Their ride quality goes down the toilet.....

Enough said!!!!

Mrochsner,

Don't let these folks beat you down. Your question was a fair question. Your choice of tires was just that: your choice. I have had both good and bad experiences with Goodyear. The all terain tires are not that bad, but as far as the off road tires I did not have good luck with them on my '72 F-250 camper special. I had them on my wife's '98 Explorer Sport also and replaced them after less than 6,000 miles due to tire noise and vibration. Both her Explorer and my new F-150 have Michelins and we like them very much. I am running 265/65R17s on my truck.

I had those exact tires on my last truck, 99 F150 Reg Cab 4X4 off road pkg. I absolutely love them. When I replace the tires on my 04 they will be the ATS's ( if I can afford them ) he he..
