You asked our opinions and I offered mine.
Vehicle tires are (or can be) a very personal thing....and what you like and what I like may be VERY different....and our needs and wants in those tires will also be different.
It appears that the views expressed so far are based on "real life" expereinces we have all had.....and once you put all our information into your tire blender and mix it all up.....only YOU will be able to decifer what comes out and what tires you will put on on your truck.
Anyhow....good luck with the tires you bought.....and welcome to this very informative site.....

Mrochsner,
A good tire makes all the difference in the world. Ride quality, traction, off road ability, and braking. Goodyear makes tires that are as good, if not better, then anyone else out there. Dunlop is also another great manufacturer. If had bridgestone and michelin on my 98' F150 4x4 SCAB and HATED both of them. Don't be scared by what some of these guys tell you. Goodyear is one of the biggest names in tires for a reason!!!
