Request for Dimensions
Howdy Folks,
The last Ford I owned was a 1988 Tempo. But, I am about to join the ranks of the Ford Truck owners. My father has a 1986 f150 he is going to hand over to me. Very cool. My concern is my parking garage. I've been searching a bit this morning, but have been unsuccesful in finding the external, overall, dimensions of the beast. Height, width, length. If anyone has those, or a good lead on a link, I would really appreciate it. I want to be sure that it will fit into my garage before I go and pick it up. If it doesn't I'll have to rent a monthly slot in the local public garage.

It really depends on the truck, saltlick; whether is long bed or short, cab type, standard or modified bumpers, etc. Look in your dad's owner's manual, sometimes they list the different dims.
...or just get your dad to pull a tape down it.
