New here. I bought a truck and have it ready to go. Went to turn the key and nothing. I traced everything and found all the wires detached from the ignition. I removed the ignition and bought a new universal one. Problem is, I don't know where any of the wires go. I checked on schematics and all I got was that yellow was battery. Any help would be appreciated.
I wasn't aware that a '66 had an ignition? What part of the ignition are you asking about? Points, condensor, coil, distrbutor cap, rotor. Please more info!
Ignition (switch), where the key goes in would be my guess.
Sorry, I haven't looked into the wires under my dash yet, but I have rewired a car prevoiusly, just have to figure out what part of the system needs electricity and in what order (ie battery/accessories/starter)...
Hold on, somebody will have the info for you.
