When I open my door it falls about a quarter inch, Does anyone know of an aftermarket manufacturer for door hinges? (Or a different soluion here) Ford wants $75 for each hinge - rip off.

id go to a salvage yard and see what you could come up with. in my experiance, aftermarket is always cheaper, but not always as good.

It is a 95 Forf F-250, so I'm out of luck on the warranty - too bad cause the problem started in 98, when it was under warranty :-( anyways, I'll check the salvage yards, thanks guys

Check with a bodyshop, they may be able to adjust it a little so it will work ok. Just a thought.

My door is falling off - Please help!

I just put new hinge pins & bushings in my '79 Bronco. Totally different application, but same situation. I replaced the pin and the bushings on the lower hinge. A 1/4" may just mean the bushings are shot and need replacement with an adjustment. My latest truck is a '97, so I might be blowing smoke too.
