Question l6

I just got a 1986 2x4 for free. My question is I have already bought a TTB (?) front end for it (off of a 84 Bronco). It has the L6 300 motor, what transmissions will fit behind this motor? I have done several searches and found that some of the early F-150's and Bronco's came with an AOD with a 1345 transfer case, will this set up work with the six cylinder???

Yes they will work with the 300. The 300 shares the same bell housing bolt pattern with the 302 and 351W so you have lots of available choices! And swapping that front end in place of your I-beams is all bolt in. You may want to try a search of this forum for 2WD to 4WD conversion. It's a pretty common topic here and there is a lot of useful information already in the forum. BTW, Welcome to FTE!
