Rich,

I must of missed the previous post. Could you let me know more about the shields, used to fill the holes in the wheel wells, that you are referring to?

Thanks,
Chris

Hey Munkey,
How do you like those Kappa's? I'm more interested in their mids to highs as i'm going to be using a seperate sub. I had Polk Dx7s in the doors, but wasn't too terribly thrilled with their mids. I was giving each one a 40 amp channel - are you amping your Kappa's?

Sweet truck

Forty,

You can come down anytime, as long as you give me a little tug when I get to happy with the go-pedal and bury myself to the axles. I'm still waiting on getting the shields, every time I've got a little extra dough left, my gas light comes on! :P

Desert Rat,

I'm running the Kappas off the stock hu for now, I'm planning 75 RMS to each speaker later on. The sound is a little muddy, but I chalk that up to still having the stock speakers in the ext. cab doors, and running the whole get-up off the stock hu. They sound great, the crossover do their jobs well! Only complaints I've got are that the holes didn't line up when mounting the Kappas with or without the mounting plate, had to drill out one new hole. Also, the tweeter is right up against one of the slats on the stock grill, it's not pushing it out, but it's just kissing it. I got them at sounddomain.com for a bit less than everyone else was asking. Overall, I'm happy!
