can,t fine the engine size
i have a 85 md. 3/4 four wheel drive someone changed the engine before i got it it had a diesel in it .i can,t seem to fine the size of it it has 7 bolts on the valve covers, thermostate housing is on the intake

The casting nuber for the block is above the starter. This would help more.
D1VE xxx for example.
Does it have a big thick aluminum timing cover? 4 bbl intake? The firing order is stamped on an intake runner in front of the carburetor.
1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8. If this is it, its a 460 or 429.
