aluminum wheels
I just cleaned road salt off my aluminum wheels with Eagle One etching cleaner and it realy looks great but what is best to protect them ...is wax a good idea or should i use a polish

I'd use polish and just keep 'em clean. Wax is probably better for painted wheels. Use a high quality aluminum/mag polish such as Mothers. www.mothers.com

Thanks Lone_Ranger01 i do have the polish and i will apply two coats and buff them out. And yes i will have to try harder to keep them clean as there maybe another salt bath soon to come . Sometimes the temp. gets so low here its tough to clean them properly with ice forming on the wheels after a good wash.Looking forward for spring ..thanks again for the reply
