fan not blowing

fan not blowing
I have a 94 Ranger and the heat comes on but the fan wont blow. I don't have the user manual so i dont know where to find the fan in the truck. The fan kind of blows when i drive but not when i am still. COuld it be an electrical problem or something else?

It sounds like an electrical problem, or either your fans broke, what feels like the fan blowing when you drive is probably just the air getting forced in, so your fan is completely dead, sorry i dont know where its located either....

The blower is under the hood on the fire wall. I suggest that you get a manual to help you work on the truck. When you locate it test for power at the electical connection, if you have power then apply power from another source to the blower, I bet you'll find the blower notor is bad. If you don't have power then you'll need to trace the circuit back to find the open.
