Thumbs up Thank You

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at FTE for deciding on what appears to be a solution that should benefit those that delite in the respectful discussion of serious issues of our time. I read over the guidelines completely and they are more than just. They are actually more lax than I thought they would be. Great job, Gentlemen.

Now,,, to those of us that participate in these forums,, understand that we now have an Obligation to adhere to the full letter of those guidelines. We have been given a second chance, let us not carelessly toss this blessing into the fire. I have faith in the rest of you,,,, myself included. Reread your post twice, three, or even four times if necessary. We can and should be able to respond to threads,,, not react.

That is all,, carry on

Thanks again Ken,, I know it was a tough decision by all involved.

Well put.

I'd also like to point out that whenever you're typing msg's to anyone on the internet, they can't tell your tone of voice. So what you might be trying to say, someone else takes a different way (which could be an offensive way) and react differently then you'd expect. Be careful and take your time when writing posts, try and think of other ways that someone might interpret your message.

Thank you FTE. Those are some strict guidlines. I do think however that one might cross those guidelines without intending to be in any way malicious. Just flowing with the topic. I hope that the integrity of the topic and the replies stays intact because I dont think its so much that the discussion gets heated its that it starts to bring out the very heart of the person.
