O2 Sensor Location

For my beautiful 94 Ford Explorer, 4.9L, 4WD....

I have replaced several parts and cleared out all the pesky codes except for:

176 : Heated Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor - voltage signal indicates lean (Bank 2)
and
177 : Heated Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor - voltage signal indicates rich (Bank 2)

Hmmm...same sensor indicating both rich and lean? Sounds like a bad sensor to me.

So here is my silly question: Where do I find the Bank 2 HEGO Sensor?

I have seen several posts on O2 sensor locations that seem to be conflicting (left side, right side, passenger side, driver's side) so please make it simple for me, a product of a rural west Texas education.

Thanks,

Fish

are you sure you have a 94 because it did not come with the 4.9l and even if it did it would have awd not 4wd. anyway sounds like you have a vaccum leak or a clogged fuel filter

It was a typo -- 4.0l V6 and yes it IS an XLT 4x4.
I did find, on another site, that the driver's side is bank2, so that is the one I have replaced

Thanks.

I took it on a road trip yesterday and no CEL came on. I usually only get it if I'm driving for more than an hour at highway speeds.
