Manual to Automatic

How hard is it to go from a Manual to a Automatic on
a 1995 F150 4.9L 4X4,like wireing etc.

If you install an E40D trans then you can buy an after market computer to control the shift points.

I can't answer if it's a direct swap or not. I would try to get some measurements of the two trans. Worse case is you need drive shaft work and relocate the cross member which I will have to do when I swap out my C6 for a ZF 5-speed.

I have read the Mazda 5-speed is the same length but I don't know for sure. Some one will chime in with the correct info you need.
