I'v seen them around here, but they were liquid cooled .By the time a persons converts everything over ,you would be better off with a four wheeler. They look a little strange. There was one setting in a yard on the way to work ,but it sat there a long time with no takers. They aren't real popular.

I remember an article in popular mechanics where they had new scorpion snowmobles out in the dunes with tires on the front. I also read an article where the polaris factory guys went halfway across the country on polaris snowmobiles with front wheels. This was early 70s and they even had them licensed.

Oops. it was supposed to take you directly to the page. If you did not find the sled before follow the link and click on "1973 Moto-Ski on a wheel kit Restoration". Unless you did see it and it was not what you were looking for fine. Presonaly I like the looks of the moto-ski one, much cleaner and simpler.

ok i take that back, jj's link is what i was looking for, thanks, now i gotta get me a snowmobile! it doesn't snow much around here(except recently)so the tires would be easier to work with. the thing looks like it would be wicked! but it needs a front suspention.

Personally I think that a four wheeler is a better idea than this unless you just want to play around with something. I don't think that it would really be too practical. I would think that it would be prone to a rollover. If practicality is not needed then, well, why not? Be fun to play around with.
