I've got a spare '58 Truck Hood Badge somewhere around here, needs to be redone though. Tell me what you believe to be a fair price for it & we'll dicker from there.

Please, when you speak to those Canadians again, have them keep their eyes peeled for a '58 M-100 for Hood, Badge, Emblems, Letters, Trim Parts & such for me, Thank'ee.
And if you come across more than one '58 while hitting all the back field roads, keep me in mind, please. Especially if one of them has a Padded Dash. If wishes were Horses,......

Parts trucks around here are scarce as hens teeth.lol.I'v been talking to some guys in Canada that might be able to find one. They crushed just about all the old vechicles around here the past few years. If I could fine one it would be well worth it I'm sure. They want around $70 just for a hood emblem. The price of parts is scary. As soon as the snow goes I'm going to hit all the the back field roads and crossroads to see if I can find one. Thanks.

Actually I'll be able to find more Mercury parts than just regular Ford parts. The trim is different on a Mercury than my truck,So if I do find a parts truck I proabably won't be able to use the trim.I'm looking mostly for the fenders, floor panels, side glass, that kind of thing.I see a lot of Mercury trucks in Canada.I just have to find one the same year as mine.I'v been talking to some guys in the Atlantic Canada Chapter.I'm sure they could help you out. They are the ones telling me where to look in Canada.I'll see what I can find for parts for your truck, maybe we can swap parts.Talk to the guys in the chapter though. One has a brother-in-law who owns a junk yard.just read the posts.good luck.

What I have actually is a '58 Ford F-100 Hood Badge, so give me a price & we'll dicker from there. See I'm one of those that when I find something that I might be able to use in a deal & procure it.
Please keep your eyes peeled for a '58 M-100 that has stuff that I can use, especially Custom Cab stuff, Please & Thank'ee! Muchly appreciated!

Tell me about replacement glass.
I'm having to put in a New Windscreen & for the 2nd time a Passenger Window. Still hace to locate the P/W, so when I go looking I'll see if there are more & get it for you. floor panels will be a little trickier though, I'll see what I can find.
Send me a complete list so that way I can search for both at the same time.

I'll keep my eye open for any parts I think you could use.I could get a good deal on them over in Canada. The exchange rate is 35-40 cents on the dollar so that would save quite a bit.The hood emblem is $70 new, so i guess I'd pay half that for a used one.I'll get a list together sometime here in the next couple of days to give you an idea. There is a lot of snow on the ground ,so it makes it hard to get around in junkyards right now. Also I'd miss some trucks setting around peoples property because they would be buried under the snow.

John,
Have you tried this place? I don't know how far they are from you, but they look like they have some older stuff. Might have to wear your snowshoes though.

F.F.

Thank'ee once again.

Just let me know how soon you want the Hood Badge so I can start digging it out for you.

Don't wish to miss any potential doner trucks.
