This girl getting killed should have never happened because this man should have never been on the streets. Here is a link to the story I posted on another site.
This turns my gut that there is people out there that do this to kids. It seems that there could be a way to do a profile on people that go to jail to pick up on things like this. I know that there is no way of doing this. But it would be nice to know who lives two doors down.
I think in Florida, a registered sex offender has to let people in a neighborhood know that he is a sex offender. Or at least that is the way that it is supposed to be. BTW, why would a sex offender be allowed on the streets anyways?
People ask me why I have a State of Florida Concealed Weapons Permit and insist on packing a sidearm most places I go. I keep telling people that the judicial system in this state is not functioning and that many many bad folks are out there with negative intentions. This piece of human trash was arrested and released 13 times before he got caught for this act. How many other crimes has he perpitrated on Florida citizens that he didn't get caught for? What are the messages the law abiding citizens of this state should take from this horrible incident? First, as earnest as the cops may be, they cannot be everywhere all the time. In the final analysis you must be prepared to preserve your life and the lives of your loved ones at all times as there ARE people amongst us who see us as prey and will kill if given the slightest chance. Secondly, there is absolutely no accountancy for the untold number of scumbag judges and attorneys who litter our fair streets with human filth instead of placing them under the damned prison where they belong. This needs to be rectified and I, for one, have asked Jeb to look into some form of judicial accountancy law. That might give these judges something to pucker their sphincters over the next time they decide to let some preditors onto the streets.
In my opinion, we, (not as individuals) as a society allow this crap to go on. We don't stand up and say that something is wrong if it is wrong. We silently stand by and watch in horror as crime after crime occurs. I think it's time we start pressuring our elected and appointed officials that something has to change. We can do that. You guys are right, it never should have happened, but it did, because our system allows trash like that out of prison. We think that if you do the time for the crime everything is hunky dory, and it isn't. 95% of the criminals out there end back up in prison...5% truly learn from their mistakes and change their lives. Oh well, that's my opinion.
