Engine questions
I am new to the F-150 lineup. I have owned a 66 bronco for a few years, but it is old and simple. My question concerns a 93 F1504x4 w/ the 300 six. Would it be beneficial to rebuild this engine with a few performance modificaitons or replace this engine with a V-8. I mainly use this truck off-road. All opinions would be appreciated.

It depends on what you want.
the I6 300 engine that you currently have is a damn good engine. It produces good HP & Torque.
If you just swapped out to a V-8 then you will have to swap wring harnesses & computers.
Perhaps you can tell us what you expect out of your truck & we can give you some more opinions.
