4X4 problems

Shawn,
I used mine in the AM going to a side job.
I shifted out once I got on the highway,
30 mins. later I went to shift back in and
nothing..... no warning. Thank God my buddy
had a winch and got me up the hill to the job.
You know, Ford thought about the hub drawbacks
and gave you a manual way to lock them,but never
gave a thought to the fact that the transfer case
motor could fail. When that happens what's the
difference? You're still stuck.

Never did figure out why I wasn getting any power down to the motor itself.
Mine just gave out as well. I got home and did not even realize that it didn't shift into 4X4 until I was stuck in the driveway. Worked fine a couple times on the way home.
