Gauges

I'm looking to put three gauges on my F250 psd Crew cab, with an 8 foot plow in the winter, and a 25 foot travel trailer in the summer. What are the three most important gauges i should by for my truck. I love my baby, so i'm just going to do everything i can to keep her around awhile.

The pyrometer has to come first, then a tranny temp gauge if you've got an automatic. Then, I'd recommend a boost gauge, even if you're not a hot rodder. By getting used to where the gauge reads, it would be the first sign that things are changing under the hood. It's also a handy fuel mileage tool. If you drive to minimize boost, you'll get better mileage.

Totally agree, those are the most important. Everything else should be in your instrument cluster. The pyrometer also develops the habit of letting the turbo "cool down" before shut down. I never shut down above 325*, try for 300*. Maybe not needed, but a good safety measure. Why fry a turbo due to ignorance?
