1960 Starter Drive
I just won an ebay auction for a starter. It does not come with the starter drive so I need to re-use my old one. I am not sure how to remove my existing drive. I'm thinking i have to knock out the pin but I'm not sure. The starter is from a 1960 223 manual

Their are maney different drives. But the last one I did. I had to pull back on the warsher that has pressure on the pin at the same time drive the pin (at the very end) out just enough so that it slides off the shaft. Do not drive the pin all the way out.
