Keyless Entry
Keyless entry stopped working, thought it was the battery,(in the key fob) replaced that and tried to reprogram, but could not get it to program mode per owners manual instructions, you know (the key on/off 8 times routine) I have a 97 F350 Super duty.
Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try disconnecting the truck's battery to blank the memory and start with a fresh slate? Might be worth a try, so long as you're sure it won't foul up anything else.
