Oh, and if it's not too much trouble, could someone list the wrist pin diameter, rod journal diameter, and piston compression height?
The reason I ask, is that my '92 explorer has 190,000 miles on it, and I know it's not going to last forever. I plan to rebuild it with the comp 49-422-8 cam, .050" overbore so I can use standard 4" diameter pistons, and some heavy port work. I'd like to know what I'm getting into before I start.
Any and all advice will be appreciated. I have experience with Ford FE's, but the fuel injection is new to me. I know I'll need bigger injectors, but how will they work with the stock computer? Again, any advice is appreciated.
