air filter for sand
I was talking to a guy the other day who's been around the block. He was telling me a few companies out there do/did make air filters special for heavy sand usage. I have looked around a bit with no success. Anybody heard of these sand hungry filters?

it would be one with a closer knit filter , i used to run a layer of greas on both rims of the filter to keep sand from bypassing the filter. there also used to be something called an oil bath filter , in the old days that we would install a regular filter in with the oil and go play in the desart . i think the closest thing to it nowdays is those K$N filters . bob.
