89 f150

I need help with 89 f150 302 5L.When I set the timeing it runs great.After driving for 2 weeks it seems like it keeps jumping timeing so I check it and it keeps geting off set. By about 10-20 degerse.WHAT IS THE PROBLEM SOME HELP

Check you rtiming chain. Had a similar problem with a 1966 Mustang 200 I-6. Replaced the chain, and it ran SO much better.

Might also put a little Locktite on the dist locking screw. (There is one, right?)

I wouldn't replace just the chain. Get a timing set - gears and chain. It's almost identical in price to just a chain. May as well replace it all while you are in there.
