Well, here we go The 'forecast' production schedule for March 69 was E98000-F11999. April's is F12000-F25999. I'd like to hear what kind of date coding you guys are finding on the windows, seat tag and driveline tags, etc.
Hmmmm. I got looking at my serial number info and at another source -which I think is correct- and will amend my quoted numbers. Looks like the numbers are supposed to be E80000-
E93999 for March, E94000-F07999 for April and F08000-F21999
for May. Now I'm really interested in your date codes
Hi Mike! Those numbers you gave are the same ones out of the ’69 Shop Manual. They list total production from D96,000 – F63,999. There are later sources with higher production numbers though. The Oct. ’72 Shop Tips mag shows D82,000 – G29,999 and the ’75 Master Parts Catalog shows D82,001 – G30,000. It would be great if ethomps could find more date codes.
