just thought i'd say thanks to everyone who gave me advice on my recent "poor mans" rebuild of the engine in my tow truck, it now has a thousand miles on it and while not perfect , is reliable and strong fo those of you who dont remember , it is a 76 40 over 360 block, 75/ 390 crank and rods, 40 over 360 pistons, one 360 head , one 390 head , 75 and 76 , a two barrell 76 manifold , a 85 2v carb from a 302, a 76/360 electronic dizzy with an 85/ 302 cap,rotor and spacer, and 85 plug wires ,with new rings , bearings , and timing chain , and new valve seals,it wasnt done this way by choice but by necessity, respectfully , bob

btw ive also wired the alternator , did the oil ristrictoe trick, the rear main seal trick, and any thing else fe specific i learned in this forum , thanks again , bob
