I am looking at buying a jeep cj-7. There are a few things wrong with it and I would like to talk with some experts. I have not ever found another forum as reliable as the ford-trucks forum but if yall have any clue which ones are reliable please let me know. Thanks
www.PavementSucks.com is good all around and they have manufacture specific forums as well as tech forums. Of course if you are brave, there is www.Pirate4x4.com.
You had better be smart or thick skinned at pirate. I am looking for a used cj-7 myself. Are you sure you aren't bidding against me on e-bay?MIght also try jeepsonly.com and cj-7.org.
I can personally tell you the off-road.com one recommended by RLH is one of the best you will find!!! I am in the process of rebilding my 86cj7, and they have been a very big help!!
He means u better be able to back up what u say and know what u are talking about, or be able to let things roll off of ya cause if u dont know exactly what u are talking about and cant back it up then u are in trouble. Pirate likes to flame alot, it should be flame4x4.
They can get downright mean there. I posted something the other day and got 6 swearing insults before I got one serious reply. Also, the guys there know what they are talking about and most of the can do it all so if you have any kind of opinions or attitude, you have got to keep it to yourself.

Its nothing a pistol whippin won't take care of. They are just pretend Pirates. Most of them are Cali preppies and the sight of the real Calico Jack would make them whizz their pants.
There are some really brilliant guys and gals on there but there are a lot that are legends in their on mind. The site is dominated by rock crawling these days.
