2000 power stroke will not start

2000 power stroke will not start
My truck will not start. I have clicking sound (maybe relay) coming from under the dash. vacuum pump is running and does not shut off. It did it once today and then after several tries it started. any ideas on what to look for here?

Try checking your batteries, your signature doesn't show where you live but since it's winter they could be down. When the batteries are not fully charged, they can have enough juice to turn the engine over but not start it also.

Thanks guys. I had one bad battery on the passenger side. It did not show up untill the next morning. It would not crank. I appreciate your help. I just knew it was going to be one of those high dollar fixes that I have had to have before. Wheel Bearing replacement is very costly and does not make much sense on how they engineered it. Thanks again
