Oil Leak

I'm new to this forum though ive been reading it for months and have learned some pretty neat stuff, now I have a question My 03 F-350 7.3 Started leaking oil from the drivers side flywheel cover took to ford and had the "CAC" lines "Re-secured" Haven't a clue what cac lines are and will they need to be "Re-Secured" often as the ford dealer seemed to think it was a common thing any info would be greatly appreciated

CAC = Charge Air Cooler. In other words, he tightened the clamps on your intercooler boots

Yes, the two large aluminium tubes that dominate either side of the engine compartment. The one on the drivers side looks as though it's covered in foil. At the forward end of each of these tubes is the charge air cooler, basically and air to air radiator. There are short blue hoses at the terminal ends of both tubes, the clamps that hold those boots on are what you are referencing as being "re-secured".
