Exclamation Van Wont Start

I have a 92 3.0L AerostarXL and it'd ran basically perfect up until a couple weeks ago. The temperature did drop to about 28degrees or so and in the morning the engine would run a bit rough and then w/in 2-3 minutes it would smooth itself out.

My problem is I thought I'd run out of gas initially. Gauge said 1/8 of a tank left and as I was going up an slight incline, the van just died. That was 2 days ago. I put 1 gallon of gas in it that night and no luck. I put 3 more in it the day after and still it wouldnt start. So today I changed the fuel filter out and properly primed the fuel pump and even let out what air could've been in the line by opening up the valve by the fuel injectors and the darn thing still wont start.

Im no mechanic obviously but Im thinking this could be an electrical problem. If anyone has can steer me in the right direction, please do. This is my only mode of transportation right now. Thank in advance.

when you turn your key on can you here fuel pump humming,
if not start to check relays, if power is going to the tank or back that way the problem is getting closer to the tank.Fuel pump can
get old and only work in warmer temps. Bushings will titen up on shaft when it get to cold pump wont turn.

Well my fuel pump works perfect and has always.

I had to take it into the shop. The diagnosis was my Ignition Coil needed replacement and while they were evaluating they found they needed to replace the Transmission Modulator Valve. I was going through 2 quarts of fluid every 3 weeks w/ no signs of burning or leakage.

They fixed exactly what needed to be fixed and it runs better than ever now.

My 93 aero had a problem like that, it took out oxygen sensor, then drove about 5000 miles and then blew out all the tranny fluid and I had to replace tranny also , so beware of this
I had been running kinda hard (70 80 mph) but I think it was
because I had ran it low. Then I though it was cured , but only after different tranny.PS replaced mod in old tranny and if I ran it hard or for very long it would bolw tranny fluid out front seal. I may live in much colder climate than you do tho. This happened in mid summer , very hot out then. smiles and a happy face for you .
good luck.

unplug the mass air flow sensor, an alluminum tube attached to the breather if it starts replace the tube and sensor, seems like combustion chamber is not getting any air. good luck
