The truck is a SD F-250 ,00 CC SB 4 x4 . I want to go to bigger tires . And Lift the truck but i don't want to loose the milage 1 maybe 2 MPG i could live with . But i pull a bass boat And avg. about 20000 - 25000 mile's a year.I was told that when you change tire size on a diesel you mess up the gearing . will a chip compensate the tires . anyone that has lifted there truck please let me know what kind and MPG.Also Does anyone Know of a good place in Chicago Area to have it done.Im kind of leaning toward a 5.5 fabtec 35"s

You will have a different gearing whenever you lift a truck and put different sized tires on it whether its a diesel or a gas engine. A chip would help in your case because you can get 60 or more HP along with more torque from a chip.

You shouldn't lose that much gas milage with going to 35" (probably only 1-2). I lost about 4.5 MPG and I have 39.5" swamper tires with a V10 and 4:30 gears. The 5.5" Fabtech with 35" tires will look really clean and its a good kit. As far as a shop in Chicago, I'm not sure???
