Power Trailer Tow Mirrors
I'm wondering if I can swap out my regular power mirrors for the big boy tow mirrors.
I know they will bolt on no problem but is the connector the same and will my regular mirror contols work for them also?
Thanks

Yeti, Putting them on is the hard part (cough, cough). The new TT mirrors just simply plug in to harness. It even has a pigtail if you have heated mirrors.
Its a piece of cake.... less than 45 minutes to install both. There are many threads with detailed instructions on how to do it but its basically:
1. Pop off the cover at the front of the window (Make sure your
window is down)
2. Pull the three rubber plugs ( one is under the cover)
3. Pop up the power window panel (you dont need to unplug anything
here, jsut work it through the panel opening)
4. There is one screw inside the power window opening (unscrew it)
5. Take the reflector off the door ( it just "pinches" off) and there
is one screw there.
6. Lift the door panel off. (lift up)
7. Unplug the mirror harness
8. Take the three nuts off mirror stud ( HOLD ONTO THE MIRROR) and
the mirror comes off.
Reverse the procedure for install.
Hope this helps

Other than that one time I woke up with some chicks panties on my head, I AIN'T NO CROSSDRESSER!!!!
