Ken, I've discussed that possibility with that dealer and they are not quite set-up to do the long distance drop ships, at least not yet. Sparky, I'm familiar with B. Williams & Cochise over there and one of them may yet get the deal but I'm probably going to brow beat a couple of the local yocals to see if I can do a deal here first.

 

Really seems like the V10/6spd/4.30LS setup is the hot ticket! Glad that is what I ordered! How many of you have the PTO provision?? That was on my order and I am not sure what that has exactly. Can anyone fill me in??

 

PTO = power take off, good deal if you want to add a mechanical winch, snow plow hyd. pump or some such piece of equipment. Doesn't mean much to 99.9% of us.

 

The PTO will also beef up some parts of the tranny, some cheap ins in my book.

 

When is your truck due to be delivered? I have a V10/6spd/4.30 LS on order due next week - I can hardly wait!

I believe that the PTO is standard on manual transmissions - optional on the automatics.
