Finding Parts
Can someone tell me why I am having trouble finding parts online for my explorer. All I can find are parts for the V6. I am looking for intake and exhaust parts for the 5.0 V8. Preferably K&N and Flowmaster. Any help would be great.

There is a place in Fallbrook Calif. that sells intakeand exhaust manifol there are call House of Manifold. I have got a couple of different manifolds from them, cheaper than a dealer even with shipping. Sorry do not have the phone number handy but if i find i will post it

I got my K&N filter from Summit racing on the web. The kit number is KNN-57-2513-1 for the $160 kit. There are many places that sell that, and I think there is an Ebay auction now and then for that kit.
The drop in filter that is just a replacement for the OEM part is KNN-E-0996, for about $40.
I can't seem to find a Flowmaster for the 5.0, however I know that many people have them. I'm guessing they were modified for the specific application by a shop. Good luck.
