If the one I found is the one you are reffering to it is not actually a 65 66 style, they had the sweaping needle. And it it is not the dash it is the instrument bezel. But maby I missed the one you were talking about, could you give us a link. Anyway I have never seen or heard of a crome dash.
No that was not the one I was refering to but it is still an instrumnet bezel. and yes it is a 65 66 you were right. I still have never heard of a crome instrument bezel. All the ones I have ever see were painted plastic. Someone please tell me if I am wrong.
Was looking for decent 65/66 instrument cluster for couple years never came across chrome plated 'metal' custom dash.
If interested in bidding, suggest email seller to determine whether item is chrome plated 'plastic' or 'metal'. Seller made reference to "no cracks" Just had 65 custom dash reconditioned where the plastic was rechromed.
If it is chrome plated metal, suggest email seller to clarify condition of the chrome. It looks good, but pictures can be deceiving. Not that knowledgeable in process, would think if the bezel portion of the dash in not an incert, rechoming may be costly.
Anyhow, my $.02.

My 66 has a plastic 'chrome' instrument bezel. I've never seen a metal one for the horizontal speedometer. I did have mine rechromed for about $75 and it was money well spent. It looks better than a new one. The chrome metal ones that I've seen are the round speedo style with the other guages in a circle.
It's been several years since I had it done, so I don't remember who did it. It was a shop that specialized in chroming plastic and they were located somewhere up north, I'm thinking Minnesota or Wisconson. Sorry, I can't be more specific.
