I tow a 32' fifth wheel and before switching to the flow through I lost a tent, a 6' ladder and a small roll of outdoor carpet on separate occasions. The flow through prevents the air turbulence in the truck bet when the fifth wheel is attached. The turbulance sucked the items up over the standard tailgate, down in front of the fifth wheel and they were long gone never to be seen again. I have seen no difference in mpg while using the flow through with 88, 92, 99, 03 and soon to be 04, F250s and F350s. Ford is about to repurchase my 03, the 04 is waiting at the lot for paperwork to be completed and yes it does have the 04 engine. I made certain of that.
