if you guys have any advice as to which leveling kit is the best, let me know. Everyone I talked to said that in order to run 315/75/16 tires i had to change the wheel and offset it to keep it from rubbing the leaf springs when i turn. I was wondering if anyone has any information on how to fix this problem without changing the wheels. I'm happy with the factory chrome, but would change if i seen something similiar in style. I remember about a week or two ago, someone had posted saying they installed a fab tech kit, and was running the same size tire. I was wondering if anyone has tried this, and if it gives you the clearance on stock wheels. Thank you guys for the awesome information supplied on this site! Keep up the good work.
i have heard that with this system and running 35" that the only time it rubs is when your turing all the way and you hit a bump. But i dont know for sure but i was planning on doing the same thing when my stock tires wear out!!
I have installed a Fabtech 3.5" Spring hangar kit. Running 35" BFG AT's. The bumper is extended from the addition of the front receiver. No rubbing after that mod what so ever. Edge makes a kit also...I quess it depends on what your opinions and thoughts of any particular kits. Check ou the gallery if you like...Thanks
pictures are awesome! Are you running stock wheels? With the fab tech kit are you able to use stock shocks?Four wheel parts whse. said they don't advise using the hangar kit-they would not give me a specific reason though.Has any negative results come from the hangar kit?
Thats funny...I bought the kit from 4 Wheel Parts!!! The wheels are 16x10 American Racing. The kit IMO is fine...except for a couple things 1...buy a reverse shackle for the rear of the front spring..from Edge. This kit requires you to "reverse" the rear stock hangar, not the right thing to do IMO. 2...Buy a adjustable track bar with the kit..its a pain in the !@# to get the axle centered where its supposed to be and realigned. I'm having that installed this weekend. I bought the shocks with the kit as IMO the stock "so called Ranchos" are crap. It rides like a dream on the hwy. Remember I had to shim ot the bumper and mod the wheel well. Feel free to send e-mail if you like...Thanks for the comment on the truck.

I think you may find that you will not always get the best advice from Four wheel parts , the only qualifier for working there is to actually at some point in your life to have driven something that has four wheels.Just my experience(and I have had a lot with them)
