My apologies

In re-reading some of my posts over the past few days, I've picked up on an "edge" to my responses. Without realizing it, I've taken a tone that I don't like, and am not proud of. If I've offended anyone, or put anyone off, I apologize. My intent was to help, not offend.
If I get up on my soap box again, would someone please gently push me off?

I didn't notice either, your post are always informative and helpfull. Without you and the other members help and willingness to share their knowledge I would not have a diesel that runs as well and some stealership would have way to much of my money. I hope that someday I'll have the knowledge you and the other "old timers" (lol) have and be able to share with newbies like me. THANKS EVERYONE!

John

I'm with the others - whatever it was you were before or after, just stay the same...medication or not!!!

This Diesel Damsel is truly hoping my mods will eventually get up to speed with your's and the others' (whine or no whine!!).

Quad - you're terrific - and thanks for all of the "pay back" !

I just think I come on too strong sometimes. I've got opinions, and sometimes I think I'm abrasive when it comes to expressing them.
If some people haven't picked up on that, I'm happy. If others have, I'll try to be a source of information without the edge.
As I've told D'sl Lvr Ldy in an email, everything I know I've learned from asking questions, and paying attention to the answers. I feel as though I've gotten a lot more from diesel websites than I've given back, so I feel like there's a lot of payback still due.

I quit the "medication" in the 70's, after realizing I'd lost track of an entire decade!

I just think I come on too strong sometimes. I've got opinions, and sometimes I think I'm abrasive when it comes to expressing them.
That's why they call them opinions!

We all come to these sites to learn, and share what we've learned about our stuff, and those of us that have been here for a long, long time are generally set about what we like and why we like it. It's impossible to express your opinion on these matters without occasionally letting some emotion come through the keyboard.

Besides.....somebody has to stand on that soapbox . Your dues are long since paid, step up and preach on brother.

Thanks for your support, folks. Apparently I haven't come off as obnoxious to you folks as I thought I was. If you're cool, I'm cool.
