Warner T-89B

Does anyone have any knowledge of this transmission? I always thought it was a T-85 but it turns out it was replaced. Any help is VERY appriciated.

From what i can find in google searches in was offered in gmcs, jeeps, was it offered in a ford? I really don't want to have to find a gmc forum to get info on my tranny, so any help or former threads on this subject would be incredibly helpful.

Nope. It has T 89 cast into it...i guess ford was the last to offer it in the '71 pick-up.

BORG-WARNER T89 1956-71 Ford Trucks
Cast iron, top loaded case with 9-bolt side cover. Non-synchronized 1st gear with 36 tooth brass synchro rings for 2nd/3rd with a four-step cluster gear. Mainshaft for 1st/Reverse gear is straight cut.
