Destinations or Swampers

I'm looking at buying a set of new tires for my truck. I am looking at the Firestone Dimention M/T and the Swamper LTB. If anybody has used these I would like some opinons on them, some pros and cons if you would please.

I am rolling on the swamper 34-10.50-15 LTB/TSL's right now. Just as with any other swamper they are loud, rough, look mean and stick like glue in the mud.

I also have the 34-10.50 LTBs. They do exactly what is listed above, with extra emphasis on LOUD, ROUGH, LOOK MEAN, and STICK LIKE GLUE in the MUD!
These are bias ply tires. They flatspot. Sometimes they flatspot in as little as twenty minutes. The lumpy ride can takes up to ten miles to smooth out in the mornings. The LTBs are very loud. Passengers in my truck glance nervously towards the sky in hopes of seeing the airplane they hear following us. Conversation doesn't occur in my truck at speeds above 35 mph. I simply can't hear the person next to me talking.
The Ltbs will do everything you want them to in mud.
Don't know a thing about the Destinations.

How about the life of the LTB's. My truck probably sees about 50/50 off road and on, but I probably put less then 3000 miles a year on it. I basicly use this truck for wheeling in the mud, hunting, hauling fire wood and hauling junk to the landfill. How are the LTB's on the highway? I ask cause where we hunt deer is about a 40 mile drive one way, but this only goes on for one week a year, still I would'nt want a tire that made the truck feel like it was on the verge of being out of control, and I do run to Des Moines every once in a while which is about 100 miles round trip. Are these tires louder then the TSL's? I had a set of them on another truck I had and I don't remember them being !that! loud, ofcourse its been several years.
Thanks for the input

LOL!, I forgot to mention the warm up in the morning! Its like riding on square blocks until they do. I actually don't have that big of a problem with the noise. With the windows rolled up and the tires at 30psi, it is just a slight buzzing if you stay out of "drone zone" mph.
I don't have enough miles yet to assess wear, 4wheel parts told me they were too new to really now how the will wear in the long run.
I drive them on the highway quite often. They handle well on the street and aren't too bad on the highway once warm (cold days make them rougher riding). I am pretty sure they get louder the longer you run them, because I don't remember them being this loud when I bought them.
I would rate them in the same class as regular tsl's on loudness, depending on how wide they are. They are a tsl tire, ss won't let you forget that, its printed all over the tire.

I run the Tsl radials, not the ssr's or the trxus mt, These are the tsl radials I think they are the most agressive radial mud tire you can get they are little quieter than the regular TSL's and no flat spots but just as agressive but not too much more expensive give them a look.

My 15.5x35x15 Super Swamper SX's are LOUD, ROUGH, LOOK MEAN, and STICK LIKE GLUE in the MUD! They feel like a real big tire but they are only 35's. They are heavy as hell too.

I bought my LTBs thinking I would be happy to get 15k miles on them before they were totally bald. So far, I have about 5500 miles on them and they show very little wear. I have little complaint about the LTBs highway performance, but my truck never gets above 60 mph. I have taken many trips of about 90 miles, loaded with an ATV or a tractor in the back and the tires seem to handle this fine. No excess heat or such. The LTBs will give you varying degrees of feedback, depending on your inflation preferences, especially under hard braking. My truck runs 36 psi all around and I experience some darting about in the lane when braking hard. The shallow ruts left by heavy truck traffic will also give you something to pay close attention to. The LTBs are a heavy tire, and that extra rolling weight will show in in slightly decreased acceleration and longer braking distances. The noise is still loud, but I love a loud mud tire. I passed a Jeep with radial TSLs and he could certainly hear my tires over his! Overall, I really like my set of LTBs and will probably replace this set with another when they wear out.

The grabber mts are ok but nothing special, I have tsl's on a mud racer truck, and they stick and the ltbs are supposed to be as good according to another racer I know and live better on pavement (tsl will come apart if you drive them very long at high speeds), another tire that works well is (and don't no one jump me on this) Hancook dynamic m/t I had them on my truck till I started racing it, and went to the narrower tire, and 2 friends of mine run them and they both got over 60k miles and still had enough tread to run around guys running things like new bf goodrichs, and I know they are cheaper than alot of other brands, and are avail in southern IA anyway
