Hey Guys,
Just a little news and tid bit of info!!
I had to replace those factory tires about 2 weeks ago. They were the General Duellers 235/85 16s. I installed the Michelin LTX 235s/Load range E at $170 a tires. I took my parents on a road trip to through Death Valley and I was getting 19 MPG from Las Vegas and back. Its about a 400 mile trip.
I'm very impressed. I did the same trip about 2 months ago and I averaged about 12. I guess tires can make a big difference.
I just thought I'd throw this in if someone is looking for tires

That is amazing...We basically have the same truck but I think my gears are 3.73... and the best I got wasw 14. Funny thing though, I usually only get 11-12 highway, but I was in a hurry and had the cruise set about 80 and got better mileage...WIERD!!

WOW a 63% increase in mileage just from tires? Is that what you're saying?

Are you sure you didn't put DIESEL in by mistake.I did it once and got 20 mpg and 30 highway

Damn,
I ordered 5 new Michelin LTX MS tires(265-75-16)last Thursday to replace my less than 3000mi. Firestone Steeltex tires.I guess the added fuel mileage is just going to be an unexpected bonus
.If I get mileage gains like the ones that have been mentioned,then my new tires will pay for themselves

I thought the only thing extra I was getting was the "free" Motorola Radios.
