We all do dumb things now and then. I wouldn't call it bad engineering; it simply wasn't made to be yanked thru a snowbank like that. The "bics" of today are not the same of yesteryear.

You can see the hook at the end of the tow strap; it was hooked to the bumper. Not the cars fault, but rather the owner.

When I saw this thread, I thought it would give me the chance to recommend a flick I watched last night. It is called TOMCATS. It is strictly a guy movie and VERY funny. Rent it if you can.

What I can't figure out is why did they pull it deeper into the snow? If they'd pulled the other direction, it would have come right out. A whole bunch of big DUHs. I think it was intentional .. why would they be filming something as memorable as pulling yerself out of a tiny bit of snow? They in Hawaii? Now then it would be a memorable event to pull out of the snow.
