Just for your information, -40F is = to -40C ! ! Only point on the scales they match!

The -53C is equal to -63.2F

I agree, once it get so cold, what difference does it make?????

So Dennis, does your spit freeze before it hits the ground? I sure wouldn't want to go outside to take a leak! Ouch! That hurts just thinking about it! I guess most of your 18K+ posts were made during the winter, eh?

It was so cold here today that when I spoke to my neighbour while shovelling the walks all the words I said: turned into a caption

Now I understand why when I'm in Canada everybody looks at me strange when I ask for a FULL glass of ICE in my drinks! BTW, I am married to a Canadian and we live in Hope BC also. It's only -10C there, positively balmy!

it was -50 F below with the windchill factor today in northern iowa, i went out to work on my snowmobile and grabbed a wrench and it stuck to my bare hand so i decided to go inside and drink coffee for the rest of the day.

Lucky me, I'm up here in northern Sask. Us humans can dress a little warmer; but the vehicles sure whine and moan at these temps.

Yea, we drive across the wooden trestle bridge he walks over at the start movie almost everyday. We are SO PROUD! Also BTW we live in Houston in the winter, I think it was about 60F today. And I got a FULL cup of ICE for my drink right now, and it is GOOD!

Wink Why do you stay there???

Yeah, the words froze and we couldn't hear them until we threw them on the fire!
And you don't even get the "Northern Living Allowance". Man I would hate to have your Hydro/Heating Bill.

Hey, in that type of temp, how long do you let your vehicle warm up? Fifteen minutes?
