The '99 work van with the 5.4L Has the SES light on, and is really running terrible. Bucking when the T/C locks and just runs rough at all other times. Pulled some codes and they are:
PO402 Exhaust Gas Recurculation flow excessive detected
PO305 Fault Cylynder F- Misfire Detected (cylynder 5)
P1000Monitor checks not complete, More driving needed.
as far as the 402 think it needs a new EGR valve? wheres this on the motor?
then the 305, think its a coil or plug problem? these are a mother to get to in a van I recall.
The p1000 im not too concerned about, Just suprised to see, its been doing alot of driving
any insight would be appreciated. cant afford the stealer right now... thanks.....

Misfire codes are either the COP in the 5.4 or a plug.
Check for vacume leaks also.
sorry, Im usually a Diesel guy, Im not familiar with what a COP is. is that the individual coil over each plug? also any idea how difficult getting to the #5 is on a e series? thanks,
