Question 1992 Explorer Transmission Slip

I hope someone out there can help me. A while back I was reading questions in this forum about Ford Explorer Transmission slippage. A couple of you had written in about a tranny cocktail for the SUV's that would help the transmission perform better.
I have been looking for that recipe but I cannot seem to find it again.
One other question, if not the tranny cocktail is the Mercon V for the 1992 Explorer and where can I purchase it?

Ford says no on the Mercon V unles it was rebuilt recently. There is some incompatability with the clutch material. Whether this will show up in the expected remaining life of this tranny is debateable. Suggest you talk about your problems before you put a bunch of mouse milk in. Many problems can be resolved without pulling the transmision.
