Which supercharger would you use?

It's going on my 91 F150 4x4 extended cab 5.0L mustang engine. Which would you use?

Powerdyne

Vortech

There maybe others that I haven't found out about yet.

Blurry94,

Thanks for the links, very interesting reading. This is the first I've ever really thought about a supercharger. I owned a few of the Ford products with the old T-3 Turbos. Two Merkur XR4Ti's, 79 Mustang Pace Car, and I bought my son a 86 Thunderbird turbo coupe. So I'm familar with the turbos. Can't wait to get a SC installed on my truck.

On the other end of the spectum....If you don't do alot of racing and your truck is used for "utility" purposes, then a Kenne Bell might be a better option. It makes tons of torque down low wich is great for towing or stoplight races.
I opted for a centrifigual because I don't tow with mine and there are more "cooling" options for a centrifigual. I have a Vortech SQ and I really like the way it performs. It does spool up quick, and keeps rising with the RPM's. I picked up an intercooler from a Powerstroke Diesel and installed it on my truck to help lower the discharge temps. Once I get the pipes make and pulley the SC'er down, it should make for a very fun ride.

I like ATI Prochargers myself. I like the whine. Not sure if theres an existing application for you, but worth checking into.

The Vortech I ran on my 460 truck was awesome. It make that dog run like a deer!

With a nice turbo muffler it rumbled and whined. SWEET.

I checked out ATI prochargers, doesn't look like they have a setup for 87 to 96 model fords. They have one for the older model chevys. I guess they figure us ford guys had so much power to begin with they needed to help the older chevys!
